What is Designed Clinical Nutrition?
Designed Clinical Nutrition is a specially designed nutrition plan, that is tailored to your specific needs to restore, renew, or maintain your health. This plan is based on clinical results achieved, on numerous patients over a several year period. As for the nutrition piece, all recommendations will use real food, meaning food that nature designed, that will aid the body in repairing itself.
A plan is developed after undergoing a comprehensive analysis of your current state of health and determining your health goals. This includes a complete intake and evaluation, review of any lab work, and Nutritional Response Testing. Your plan will include both dietary recommendations, meal plans (if you request), and concentrated, uniquely processed, whole food supplements that will actually help the body to heal.
Most over the counter supplements contain additives, chemicals, and other foreign substances that the body does not know how to process. The supplements used in clinic have been in use since 1929 and are mostly organically grown right here in the US. The farm is one mile from the factory so they are also fresh when they arrive to be processed. Each batch is carefully inspected at least 5 times throughout the process to ensure purity and integrity. If a food has to be sourced from another location, it is inspected from any contaminants and it is GMO free. These are food that your body recognizes and knows how to process.
Once your plan has been established positive results are usually noticed within the first 4 -6 weeks, if not sooner. Although each case is different this will also depend on how well you stick with the program.
How long you stay on the program will depend on your current state of health and your desired goals. If you have a long term health problem then once you have finished one course of treatment, there may be something else that pops up. As this occurs the program is adjusted.
This program may be used alone or with a series of acupuncture treatments.
